I recently completed my PhD in Mathematics at UQÀM (as part of CIRGET), supervised by Steve Boyer (with additional direction from André Joyal).

I received my MSc in Mathematics at UBC under the direction of Dale Rolfsen.

Beginning in the 2009-2010 academic year, I will be at UCLA as a Hedrick Assistant Professor, as well as MSRI for the semester program homology theories of knots and links.

I work in low dimensional topology. My research interests, broadly speaking, are Khovanov homology and Heegaard-Floer homology. In particular, I am interested in the interaction between these two theories. Some more information may be found here:
